Dark Bombastic Evening se doreste a fi un festival nonconformist, ce promoveaza si sustine spiritul Underground, in modul cel mai liber si neconditionat! A fost creat cu dorinta sincera de a oferi prietenie, de a organiza evenimente culturale diverse si de a pune bazele unei platforme muzicale Underground unice in Romania si nu numai. Totul a fost creat din admiratie pentru artistii talentati care doresc sa impartaseasca in cel mai onest mod viziunile lor catre un public explorator de elemente noi, experimentale, atipice.

Nu ne dorim sa fim concurentii nimanui, nu ne bucuram sa fim incadrati sau comparati, nu intentionam sa promovam doar anumite stiluri muzicale, nu este intentia noastra de a ne abate de la Spiritul Underground, chiar daca semantica acestor cuvinte poate deruta sau lasa deschisa usa spre dezbateri (in)utile despre: stil muzical, vizibilitatea trupei, atitudine, perceptie, comportament… incercam doar sa sustinem exprimari originale, de calitate, create de artisti
dedicati propriilor obsesii… cautam, descoperim, tatonam, experimentam, dezvoltam… si, nu in ultimul rand, ne-am bucura sa putem contura o platforma de prieteni care sa creada in ceea ce incercam sa facem si, in timp, sa aducem in Romania, in locatii cat mai interesante, in conditii civilizate, trupe si artisti inovativi mai putin promovati sau altii care isi doresc neconditionat sa ne cunoasca!

Dark Bombastic Evening desires to be a nonconformist festival that promotes and supports the Underground spirit in the freest and most unconditional ways! It was created from an honest wish to offer friendship, to organise cultural events filled with diversity and to establish a musical Underground platform unique to Romania and beyond. Everything was created out of admiration held towards the many talented artists who are willing and wanting  to share their vision in the most honest of ways with an audience that is open to explore new, experimental and atypical elements.

It’s not our intent to compete with anyone, we do not enjoy, nor care about being catalogued or compared, it’s not our intent to promote only certain music styles nor is it to step away from the Underground scene, even if the semantics of these words can leave the door open for useless (or useful) debates about music style, band visibility, attitude, perception or behavior… Here we are merely trying to support something that we truly consider not only to be an original and beautiful way of expression, but honest endeavors, artists dedicated to their own dreams and obsessions…we search, we discover, we probe, we experiment and develop… and last but not least, we would be so happy if we could frame a platform made out of friends who believe in what we are trying to do, and at the same time to bring to Romania – into interesting venues or pitoresque locations, holding on to our standards and provide civilized conditions – innovative bands and artists that are less promoted than others from the same category, but who want to know us unconditionally!
