Dupa ALCEST si ROME, DonisArt anunta participarea altor 2 nume la Dark Bombastic Evening 3, trupe ce au vizitat Romania in premiera anul trecut!
In octombrie 2010 o trupa aproape necunoscuta fanilor Metal a reusit sa umbreasca recitalurile altor nume spectaculoase, in cadrul Labyrinthic Metal Evening. VULTURE INDUSTRIES este un cvintet norvegian ce a realizat pana acum doar 2 albume, ultimul fiind lansat oficial la Bucuresti printr-un recital de neuitat! Exprimarea teatrala, vocea operatica si dinamica scenica a liderului Bjornar Erevik, alaturi de riffurile avangardiste ale chitarilor pline de energie si de o baterie atipica au facut ca, dupa concert, VULTURE INDUSTRIES sa vanda doar in cateva minute tot merchandisingul pe care l-au avut cu ei! Ca apoi sa declare ca a fost cel mai reusit concert din istoria lor si ca au cantat in fata celui mai exploziv public! Fanii i-au asaltat continuu pentru fotografii, autografe, discutii prelungi. Cu atingeri stilistice spre DEVIL DOLL sau ARCTURUS, insa cu o expresivitate si dinamica originala, trupa norvegiana revolutioneaza deja scena Metal in cel mai inovativ mod!
Muzicienii vin special pentru DBE 3, vor sustine concertul in seara de vineri, 19 august si vor sta impreuna cu fanii pe durata intregului eveniment!

Seara de 20 august ofera posibilitatea unei trupe experimentale sa-si prezinte integral un spectacol ce vine dintr-o alta lume! La DBE 2, la Bucuresti, grecii de la DIRT GRANNY TALES i-au lasat fara cuvinte pe toti participantii, indiferent ca au fost fani, trupe sau organizatori! Abordarea Acustico-Teatrala, imbinarea dintre muzica si teatru de papusi, versurile cu teme gotice asamblate pe o muzica atmosferica intunecata, garderoba si machiajul incitant, dansurile halucinante si jocul scenic, instrumentele traditionale dar si inflexiunile vocale ale liderului Mouldbreath (fost membru ROTTING CHRIST), au facut din DIRTY GRANNY TALES revelatia editiei din decembrie 2010. Cei 6 artisti doresc sa prezinte la Alba Iulia un spectacol complet, de data aceasta fara limitari de timp sau spatiu, adresat tuturor celor care stiu sau vor sa afle despre frumoasa poveste elena. DonisArt spera ca alegerea facuta cu revederea celor 4 trupe va aduce momente de bucurie tuturor fanilor Serilor Speciale dar si noilor prieteni ce vor participa pe 19 si 20 august, in cetatea Alba Iulia. Pentru aceasta editie, ROME, ALCEST, DIRTY GRANNY TALES si VULTURE INDUSTRIES sunt singurele trupe invitate sa revina in Romania. Urmatoarele comunicate vor dezvalui alte nume interesante, mai mult sau mai putin cunoscute aici, care apreciaza Spiritul Underground si impresioneaza prin muzica creata! Toti muzicienii vor veni sa petreaca zile de poveste in cetatea Alba Iulia, dar sa ne si prezinte creatiile lor, rostite, cantate, exprimate in cel mai sincer si onest mod.

After ALCEST and ROME, DonisArt is proud to announce the participation of another two bands at Dark Bombastic Evening 3, two bands that have visited Romania for the first time last year!
In October 2010, a band that was almost unknown to Metal fans managed to outshine the recitals of other spectacular bands, at Labyrinthic Metal Evening. VULTURE INDUSTRIES is a Norwegian quintet that has only two albums until now, the last one being officially released in Bucharest through an unforgettable concert. The theatrical expression, the operatic voice, the scenic dynamics of the lead-singer Bjørnar Erevik, together with the avantgarde riffs of the energic guitars and an atipical set of drums, made possible, after the concerts, for VULTURE INDUSTRIES to sell, in only a few minutes, all the merchandise they have brought! After that, they declared that this was the best concert in their history and that they have now performed in front of the most explosive audience. The fans ‘’assaulted’’ them continuously for photos, autographs and long talks. With stylistic hints towards DEVIL DOLL or ARCTURUS, but with an original dynamics and expression, the Norwegian band is already changing the Metal scene in the most revolutionary and innovative way!
The musicians are coming exclusively for DBE 3. The concert will take place Friday, 19th of August, and they will stay among the fans during the entire event!

The evening of August 20th offers to an experimental band the possibility to present an entire show from another dimension! At DBE 2, in Bucharest, the Greeks from DIRTY GRANNY TALES left all the audience speechless, regardless of them being fans, bands or organizers! The theatrical-acoustic approach, the combination between music and a puppet show, the Gothic-themed lyrics matched with the dark atmospheric music, the wardrobe and the exciting make-up, the hallucinating dances and the scenic play, the traditional instruments, but also the vocals of the leader, Mouldbreath (former ROTTING CHRIST member), made DIRTY GRANNY TALES into the revelation of December 2010′s edition. The 6 artists want to present, at Alba Iulia, a complete show, this time without time and space limitations, addressed to all who know or want to find out about the beautiful Greek story. DonisArt hopes that the decision to bring here again these four bands will bring joy to all the Special Evenings fans, but also to the new friends who will participate, on 19th and 20th of August, at Alba Iulia citadel. At this edition, ROME, ALCEST, DIRTY GRANNY TALES andVULTURE INDUSTRIES are the only bands invited to come back to Romania again. The next statements will reveal other interesting names, more or less known here, who appreciate The Underground Spirit and who make impressive music! All the musicians will come to spend some fabulous days in the Alba Iulia Citadel, but also to show us their creations, told, sung, expressed in the most sincere and honest way.
A new statement will be made on the 14th of January.

DIRTY GRANNY TALES este o trupa care relateaza povesti sumbre, rupte dintr-o alta lume, intr-un mod muzical acustic, folosindu-se de teatru de marionete, teatru de dans şi clipuri animate. Trupa a fost fondata in 2005 de către vocalist (Mouldbreath). Trupa a concertat pentru prima data la Atena, in 2006 si si-au continuat concertele live pana in 2008, cand au lansat albumul “Inversed World”. În 2009 au creat show-ul “Didi’s Son”, in 2010 aparand si albumul plus DVD-ul cu acelasi nume. In momentul de fata trupa concerteaza aducand pe scena un nou show - “Jealous”.
Unele dintre principalele influente ale trupei sunt: Danny Elfman, Diamanda Galas, Tiger Lillies, Dimmu Borgir, The Residents, teatrul gotic japonez, Butoh …
Cu exceptia vocalistului (Mouldbreath), basistului (Warm eaten vagus) si dansatorului (Eryfili), ceilalti membri ai trupei s-au schimbat pana acum. A mai existat si un al doilea chitarist si un violoncelist, care acum au fost inlocuiti de un pianist.

SHAKE TEETH: pian, backing vocals

Povestile Dirty Granny au loc intr-o lume in care marionetele detin controlul si sunt maestrele celor vii. Este o lume inversata in care oamenii devin obiectele obiectelor.
In showul jucat anul trecut, scriitorul si eroina povestii sale, marioneta Didi, s-au indragostit. Urmasul lor trebuia sa decida de care lume apartine. In ultima parte a trilogiei, povestea este prezentata dintr-un alt punct de vedere. Protagonistul este mizerabilul om-matura, care traieste doar pentru inima lui Didi. Dragostea inflacarata dintre iubita lui Didi si narator, impreuna cu personalitatea sa slaba, il umblu de manie si disperare fata de creatorul sau…
DIRTY GRANNY TALES is a band that relates unworldly dark tales with a musical acoustic way, puppets theater, dance theater and animation clips. They were created in 2005 by the vocalist (Mouldbreath). They first performed in Athens on 2006 and continued their live shows till 2008, when the album “Inversed World” came out. In 2009 they performed their new show “Didi’s son” and in 2010 their new album and DVD with the same name ”Didi’s son” came out. Now they are performing their new show, called“Jealous”.
Some of the main influences of the band are: Danny Elfman, Diamanda Galas, Tiger Lillies, Dimmu Borgir, The Residents, Japanese gothic theatre, Butoh… Excepting the vocalist (Mouldbreath), the bassist (Warm eaten vagus) and the dancer (Eryfili), the other members of the band been changing till now. There was a 2nd guitarist and a cellist, which have now been replaced by a pianist.

Dirty granny’s tales take place in a world where the puppets take control and are the masters of the livings. It’s an inversed world where humans become tools of the tools.
On last year’s Show of Dirty Granny Tales, the writer and the heroine of his fairytale, the puppet Didi, fell in love. Their offspring had to decide in which world he belongs.
In the last part of the Trilogy, the story is presented from a different point of view. The main character is the miserable broom man, who lives only for Didi’s heart. The burning love between his beloved Didi and the story-teller in addition to his weak personality, fill him with anger and despair for his creator…
